Below is the solution to the Caesar's Riches Puzzle Box

On this page you will find the solution to the riddle.

Have fun puzzling!

In the first step, the following mechanism can be solved.

Here you can move the parts cleverly and push the 4x4 wooden part out to the side.

On the back of the piece of wood that you pushed out through the opening, you get the note "bda" from the back

With this note, the following sliders can be set.

And then the following slider can be pulled out.

Then the following drawer can be pulled out.

Inside the drawer is a key and a new puzzle.

The numbers you are looking for in this puzzle are "6" and "8"

You get this solution if you always cover half of the symbols. (1 2 3 4 5 _ 7 _ )

With these numbers and the key, the next mechanism can be unlocked by setting the wheels to 6 and 8 and using the key to open.

Note: The key can be turned a little clockwise to unlock the mechanism.

Once this mechanism has been released, the compartment lock can be removed by pulling it forwards.

There are templates in the compartment. In addition, the following note can be seen on the ceiling of the compartment 1+2 and 3+4

These templates can be used to solve the word puzzle printed on 2 sides of the Puzzle Box.

Side 1: Template 1+2 must be placed on top of each other for alignment there is a star that is engraved, here both templates must hit the star with a hole and there are also dashed marks that can be used as orientation.

When the stencils are stopped correctly, the resulting letters are: LTAOGYRE

These letters result in the following 2 words: TOGA and LYRE

Side 2: Template 3+4 must be placed on top of each other for alignment there is a star printed and dashed markings.

If the stencils are stopped correctly, the following letters result: ACOIRNCH

These letters result in the following 2 words: COIN and ARCH

Note: the drawer must be reinserted to get the last letter 😉

Before you can move the sliders, the complete columns can be pushed a bit to the right.

The solution for the slider is then as follows: (the first letter of each template indicates which word can be set on which slider)

Template 1= "Toga" must be set with the slider at position 2

Template 2= "Lyre" must be set with the slider at position 4

Template 3= "Coin" must be set with the slider at position 1

Template 4= "Arch" must be set with the slider at position 6.

Then the main slider can be released.

The following slider can still be removed and the final lock can be opened:

You have reached your destination :)

The final compartment can be closed again

It is important to ensure that the sliders are set to the correct symbols.

1 = toga

2 = lyre

3= coins

4 = Arch

Then the sliders can be pushed in and the columns can be pushed to the left again.

The stencils can be placed back in the compartment.

Then the compartment can be locked by locking the lock with the key and then randomly adjusting the wheels.

The key can then be placed back in the drawer and the lock can be closed by the drawer

The drawer can be reinserted.

Then the 3 sliders can be pushed back in, please note in which sequence of the Rhine they are placed.

The sliders are marked 1-3.

Then the side slider can be inserted.

It is important to ensure that the other sliders are set to "bda".

As a final step, the piece of wood can be reinserted.

Complete! Now the box can be released again. :)
