Da Vinci's Marvel
You made it! The case pops open, giving way to a small pile of yellowish papers inside. Carefully, you both take them out and examine them closely. They feature drawings and texts composed in mirror writing intended to serve as explanations and instructions.
You enthusiastically take the treasure and head for the explorer who sent you the scroll to decipher the parchments together. A perpetuum mobile! A basic sketch of some motor running on solar energy! At last, you read a saying scribbled by da Vinci on the old paper:
“For the first time, the great bird will rise from the back of the mighty swan. Let him fill the entire universe with wonder and all scriptures with his glorious deed, for eternal glory to the nest wherein he was born.”
It also has full instructions for a flying machine and a field report on da Vinci’s experiments with this first airplane, which is a tremendous treasure for historians and future researchers alike. After this discovery, you are promised you can choose a name for this aircraft.
But wait! Hidden under the parchment is a coin that falls straight into your hands. It must be ancient, yet it is as shiny as freshly polished. Together with the coins from your previous adventures, it could soon come in very handy, indeed.
